Texas Renewable Energy
Texas Renewable Energy is a dealer/distributor of renewable energy products e.g. solar panels, wind turbines, hydrogen cells, and geothermal equipment. Renewable energy is naturally replenishing energy which comes from natural resources such as sunlight, wind, water, and geothermal heat. Texas renewable energy is also a registered federal contractor and State of Texas HUB Vendor that specializes in Environmental Consulting, which includes four services: a) Renewable Energy, b) Sustainability, c) Conservation, and d) Environmental Quality. http://www.TexasRenewableEnergy.info

Buildings Go Green for Energy Efficiency
As the White House continues to promote energy efficiency as a key component to solving the energy crisis, politicians and business leaders consider commercial buildings prime candidates for efficiency savings. Clean Skies News’ Susan McGinnis takes a look at “green” building and tours a building that’s won top-level recognition for energy efficiency.

Renewable energy?
Why doesnt the government make everything with renewable energy? why are factories and plants still using fossil fuels?
There is a lot of money behind fossil fuels in this country, and an awful lot of very rich people would lose money if fossil fuel consumption dropped to zero. A great book about this is called Big Coal; it goes through the coal industry from mining to polluting and describes the power structure that is holding up this archaic method of electric generation.
renewable energy is gaining a foothold in this country, but like anything else, it’s not going to happen overnight. Engineers are finding new ways to create and conserve electricity everyday, but it is up to the rest of us to continue demanding clean energy until the change is complete.
As for industrial uses, many industries can use renewable energy for their electric needs, but some of the high-power requirements require the extra muscle that electricity cannot always provide (at least, not yet). You aren’t going to be seeing any hybrid-electric bulldozers very soon; the technology just isn’t that strong yet.
All the same, be vigilant! Many things once said to be impossible have already been done, so I have no doubt we can find ways to eliminate pollution entirely.
Will ecotoxic-conservatives stop green energy because they hate the left?
Will the environment continue to be attacked
because letting those evolution touting, sex loving,
precarity hating, environmentalists win would be too hard?
Will the Congress refuse to even debate green energy development
before killing it?
That’s their goal. The only non-fossil fuel energy source they seem to support is nuclear energy, which also happens to be extremely expensive – moreso than many renewable sources.
I think the main problem is that a lot of Republicans get a lot of funding from the oil companies. You may have heard about Rep. Barton apologizing to BP yesterday for making them pay to clean up the environmental catastrophe they caused. It’s not a coincidence that Barton is the top House of Representatives recipient of money from the oil and gas industry.

Another reason is that many conservatives have this irrational hatred of ‘environmentalists’. So Republicans know that by blocking green energy legislation, they won’t lose votes from these anti-environmentalists.
At this point it’s up to the Democrats. They need to put forth serious climate and energy legislation. If the Republicans want to block it, then make them block it. Make them put their votes on the record. Let it be known to future Americans that the Republican Party blocked clean energy legislation. Democrats can’t give up just because they don’t think the legislation won’t pass.
Once green energy is more mainstream will conservatives pretend they always agreed with it?
I have noticed this happening over the last 3 years and find it bizarre how so many conservatives are now coming around after being so against clean energy. Why is this?
I imagine they will because they seem more concerned with blending in than taking a stand for what they believe in.
Those on the right fail to see the vast potential for green energy. Switching over to green energy sources will most certainly boost our economy and create countless jobs. Of course there will be jobs lost in the fossil fuel industry, but it will be gradual and not immediate. For every job lost, there will be new jobs created in the research and development of new products, in the manufacturing of those new products, and in the installation and maintenance of those new products.
Let’s pretend for a second that global warming/climate change doesn’t exist. What’s the WORST thing that could happen? The Earth gets CLEANER? That’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make even IF thousands of scientists are somehow wrong.
Nuclear energy is not a viable option for a number of reasons. Nuclear power plants may not produce AIR pollution, but they do contaminate ground water and soil. Then of course there’s the nuclear waste produced by nuclear power plants that NOONE in their right mind would want stored anywhere near their home.
Fossil Fuels are appropriately named because they’re beyond outdated. They are the fuel of the past. It’s time we look to the FUTURE and tap into the vast potential of clean, renewable and abundant energy resources such as solar, wind and hydro power!
